West informed the audience at a concert in San Jose, California on Thursday night nights that he didn’t vote in the Nov. 8 U.S. presidential elections “but easily could have voted, I’d have voted for Trump.”
The rapper continued to be quiet through the acrimonious 2016 election marketing campaign while Hollywood actors and other music heavy hitters like Beyonce, Katy Bruce and Perry Springsteen recognized Democrat Hillary Clinton.
“I hate the actual fact that because I’m a superstar, everybody explained not saying that we treasured the debates,” Western said, in videos of remarks uploaded by concert goers on Tweets and YouTube.
“I cherished his (Trump’s) procedure,” added Western, who this past year announced he was considering operating for U.S. chief executive himself in 2020.
Many in the public jeered, plus some in the audience published that folks were throwing things at the “Precious metal Digger” singer.
Western shouted “build that wall structure” through the concert within an apparent mention of Trump’s pledge to create a wall membrane on the U.S.- Mexico boundary and intensify immigration enforcement contrary to the country’s 11 million undocumented immigrants.
Many U.S. superstars are dismayed and surprised at Trump’s election. But previous “Daily Show” television set coordinator Jon Stewart this week called out left-wingers as hypocrites for portraying Trump voters as racists even while they purport to reject stereotypes.
“I thought Donald Trump disqualified himself at numerous items,” the liberal-leaning Stewart said in a CBS television set interview on Thursday. “But there is currently this notion that anyone who voted for him should be defined by the worst of his rhetoric.”
West, who’s committed to Television truth businesswoman and legend Kim Kardashian, recommended he previously presidential ambitions still. “I don’t say 2020 out of disrespect to your president in any way … I’m just stating I’ve got ideas about just how we should hook up our ideas,” Western world advised concert goers.
